About this test
Is this a real IQ test?
No. RUClever is an IQ-style test made for fun. Official IQ tests are normed on thousands of people and given by professionals. Our score is an estimate and shouldn't be used for any serious decision.
What does it measure?
Three kinds of reasoning: number patterns, visual pattern matrices, and verbal/logic puzzles. Questions are generated fresh each time, so a retake gives a different test.
How is it scored?
Each question has an estimated difficulty. Your score comes from a statistical ability estimate (an item-response model that allows for lucky guesses), not a simple count of right answers, so getting hard questions right counts for more. The difficulty levels are my estimates and haven't yet been checked against thousands of real test-takers, so treat the number as a good guide rather than a measured IQ.
